Going to refer to one of the life lessons I've actually tried to learn on my mission and that is things that things that are short, simple, and to the point are actually almost always better, so we'll see how this attempt goes haha:
1.) Spllllllitttts tooo Budddda! Highlight: Ben and Jerry's ice cream from Budapest. Canigeddaheckyeah? That stuff is. made. of. DREAMS. (And clouds...and rainbows. And all the good things) Also, splitting with Sister Vandenberghe after almost a year long hiatus as companions, as always, was a blast. :) I also actually ran into one of my old favorite members from Békéscsaba who is up going to one of the universities in Budapest now, which was an awesome surprise.
2.) Our bap dates are progressing amazingly well. We showed up to the branch house yesterday to teach T the Law of Chastity (everybody's favorite, right?)aaaaaannd our mission president's wife was there unexpectedly (ahhh) because President Szabadkai was interviewing someone in our branch! (*insert raw panicpanicpanicpanic here*) Haha, just kidding, the lesson went great, the baptism should be in a couple weeks, and it was great to have a surprise member present from Budapest to throw her testimony in there---good thing we're supposedly seasoned professionals, right? ;)
3.) Eger is reverting to it's vampire state a little bit, it's back to mystery mists and thick sweaters, though I've still yet to see any Cullens. It's foggy, but they're setting up the Christmas lights and revving up for a good go at the holiday season. I'm excited---Christmas finding last year was absolutely excellent and, as my district leader put it, our little district in Eger is kind of the "geriatric ward" of the mission----so we'll be armed with hot chocolate, mormon.org cards, hymn books, and and high spirits ready to go out with a bang. Bring it, Christmas season, you don't even scare me!
But, yeah. That's life in the Eger lands--shoot me an email or letter or something ha kedved van and remember I love you all! Still tripping out over the fact that Bethany is actually at home and that I'll see you all NEXT MONTH (aaahh) Remember to "be strong and of a good courage, for the Lord thy God is with thee withsoever thou goest."
Tudom hogy a Mormon könyve igaz!
