Transferred.
AGAIN.
Aggggggggggaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiinnnn.
Whatthewhat???
Did my companion pack all her things last night? Did I lay on my bed and blast Nashville Tribute Band while poorly singing along as she did so?
Maybe.
Do you know what's in my suitcase right now? Bandaids. And, like, advil. And maybe one skirt I haven't worn since the MTC. Time to pack it all up again!
I had SO much happen this week, it was one of the busiest I've had since I got E-transferred out of Pest---but I've said goodbye to exactly zero members and have nothing packed and my companion is getting a GREENIE so we need to run around and go get things ready for her so there's not really a lot of time--
So, here's the basics:
1) I'm headed out to Szombathely in the morning. Why is this cool? Guess who is from Szombathely? Guess! If you guessed my Hungarian companion, Sister Geröly, you would be correct!! Does this mean I'll probably get to see my companion's homecoming talk while I'm still on my mission? Does this mean I might get to use my previous companion as a member present one day? Yes, yes it does. Is that totally and completely insane? Yes, yes it is.
2.) This week ALEXANDRA GOT BAPTIZED!
3.) THIS WEEK ALEXANDRA GOT CONFIRMED!
COOLEST. THING. EVER. Seriously, though, I love her so much.
4.) We did an entire inpromptu presentation on familysearch to a group of Hungarian geneologists in a library in Békés, we thought we were just supposed to attend the meeting...but nope haha. Shout-out to Uncle Erik for putting stuff on my line on my familysearch so we didn't look completely ridiculous. (That was seriously a "never-in-my-life-would-I-be-giving-a-presentation-in-Hungarian-on-family-history-to-a-group-of-educated-Europeans-as-a-nineteen-year-old-kid-if-it-weren't-for-the-whole--missionary-thing)
5.) I was almost bitten by an escaped tarantula this week---pictures to be included. No big.
6.) I was absolutely and totally and completely head-over-heels in love with Békéscsaba---I love the people, the places---I'm not going to downplay it, I'm absolutely heartbroken to say goodbye. I've decided to keep the tears in and the commitment-issue jokes to a minimum, but this is going to be a really hard thing for me to say goodbye to a place that came to feel like home. I'm excited for the adventure that lies ahead. I'm excited to love Szombathely the same way that I've come to love Békéscsaba, and I'm sorry to be unoriginal, but it seems only fitting to end this email the same way I ended last week's---
Love where you're at. Because you never know how long you'll have.
LOVE AND HUGS AND ALL THE GOOD THINGS FROM BÉKÉSCSABA!
Tudom hogy a Mormon könyve igaz!
