Dear all,
Hey, guys! Not really much to report on this week, actually. The Vidor Festival (this big festival in Nyíregyháza every year) is in full swing and there's about a million people in the main square every evening with a bunch of acts and music and cool things, so it's good. The heat has come back (meeeehhh) but I'm hoping it's just a little weather-fluke-fake-out-thing and we'll be back with the cool weather soon enough.
This week we had a Relief Society activity where we ate lángos and made fridge magnets out of play-dough-y stuff---Sister Jeppson and I naturally made magnets that said "Carle és Jeppson Hercegnők" to give to everyone and the whole Relief Society was just like: "Siiiiiiiiiiissstersssss" (they love us, it's great.) :)
School is starting so everyone seems to be running around and super busy (but ya'll are all familiar with that) and it's weird because it reminds me of everyone I know back home getting ready for school! Can't believe Ian's back at BYU and Colin's a junior! Geez, time goes fast, doesn't it? Good luck! Cheering for you from Hungary!
Coolest thing of my week was my investigator (with three kids!) came to church for the first time and she really liked it and all the talks were great! It was actually a really neat experience because there's this one woman in the branch that was really nervous about speaking and so she's been having the Elders come over for ages to help her prepare for her talk--and it seemed kind of unnecessary, buuut, as she got up there to speak she really said things that I felt like my investigator exactly needed to hear, knowing her specific situation. It was really a testimony to me of what prayerful preparation for speaking in Sacrament meeting can do. Super good.
Anyways, I'm still doing well. Super pumped that even though we've already had our two months together as a companionship--we still get another one! Whooop!
Love ya'll! Talk to you in September ;)
