Dear all,
Transferred again---we just got the call.
(-insert keyboard smash here- dfhijysdéogísdgdfoéhndféhciocvnkldrgh)
I thought Nyíregyháza would finally be the one...but I guess things don't always work out the way you want them to. I keep leaving companions behind for ages in cities I love...but I'm trying really hard to see how blessed I am to serve in so many places and get to know so many different types of people, because really, I am.
Anywhooo....
I'm headed to city number seven, Eger, with Sister Rada tomorrow, which is really cool because I already know and love her, so it'll be a lot of fun.
I'm excited for all the adventure that another city brings, Eger is really famous and historic--an old medieval town. I will really miss all the people I'm leaving behind in Nyíregyháza, especially because (though I should have learned by now) I didn't get to say goodbye. As sad as I am to say goodbye early to arguably my favorite area, I'm grateful for all the lessons I've been able to learn.
The biggest one is really just about the baptismal covenants. In Nyíregyháza I feel I really got a clearer look into what it is to mourn with those who mourn, and comfort those who stand in need of comfort. The people of this city taught me so much---more than I could ever possibly teach them and I will forever love them for it. I guess I'm getting cheesy now, but there is nothing I've enjoyed my whole life quite as much as my time growing here in Nyíregyháza.
In general summary, when life gives you lemons---make lemonade. It's one of those things that's easier said than done, and it's overdone, but I think in order to lick our wounds, Sister Jeppson and I will be making some literal lemonade this afternoon to help the metaphor along. It happens ;)
I guess when all is said and done really just:
Tudom hogy a Mormon könyve igaz!
And outside of that, I'm not sure really how much else matters in regards to transfers.
Szeretet mindig,
Carle Nővér
