Dear all,
Szerrrrvussztok!
This week:
1.) The sun-scorching in Hungary has siginificantly decreased and made way for generally pretty good weather and some rain. I'm pretty sure it's a reward for good goal follow-through and I'm also really glad Dad sent me another (practically indestructible) umbrella for my birthday---you da best Dad.
2.) It was a little weird---we had our last zone conference on Wednesday with President Smith. And apparently Jamison Layman was there at the exact same time as me! You should have seen me wigging out when I got a picture of him from outside the mission home in my inbox this week! Craziness! Aside from the strange-ness that I almost saw Beth's little brother, it was just strange to think this was the last conference with the Smiths in general. And hear about how the mission is going to change and such. But it's good. Change is good.
3.) It was really nice to go to Budapest on practically my birthday and see everybody---sometimes you get so wrapped up in your own Szomabthely little bubble you start to forget about all the other awesome people out here doing the same craziness with you. It was crazy, though, on the way back from Budapest they didn't have a train straight back to Szombathely so we had to take a train to Győr, and from there change trains to a train with a problem with the railine, to get off that train, to take a bus that took us to another train station, that eventually took us aaall the way back to home-sweet-home Szombathely. It was quite the adventure, I'm honestly surprised that we didn't end up alone, confused, and in Austria. Or even worse, Romania. #itcouldhappen haha
4.) My birthday was good---Heanvenly Father was super good to me and I feel like we found some really cool people that are prepared, so it was awesome. I celebrated with more peanut butter from my birthday package and ice cream sundaes at night with the district :) Thanks for sending all the brithday love, and thank you even more for sending your prayers this way---sometimes when I think I'm going to lose it, I can for sure feel them :)
I love you all and pray for you as well, hope you're all having fanastic summers and had wonderful Father's Days (by the way---happy Father's Day, Dad!) Love ya'll to pieces
